虽然和虽然都表示虽然的意思，它们的相似之处主要有:

1.都可以引导英语状语从句，用法是一样的。

Everyone enjoyed the trip to the final although/though we lost the match! Although/Though it was rainy, we put on our jackets and went for a walk. 请注意：当although/though在句首时，中间得有逗号，而放在句中时，中间无需逗号。I still feel hungry though I had a big lunch.Though I had a big lunch，I still feel hungry

2.虽然也可以等同于“然而”放在句末，但是虽然不可以。

A: You have six hours in the airport between flights! B: I don't mind, though (=however). I have lots of work to do. A: It's expensive. B: It's nice, though (=however).
